We want to disable updating for users but the only way I see how to accomplish this is within the program under the Program options tab. Is there a way to disable checking for updates by automating it through a registry key or something else?
Yes, this is possible. You would need to create a INI file in user’s “%APPDATA%\KRKsoft\Directory Lister Pro\DirListerPro.ini” directory before or after the installation.
It has one setting (1530=0) in the [Settings] group. This effectively disables the “Automatically check for updates” option.
